This review is going off the rails, but my take on it is that it is an effective splash gift and that the Batman/Wayne manor theme is a point of launching the type of imagination not as often engaged by tablets and consoles.
Even if you have previous batcaves, I think the set is a little smaller than the previous years, but I like the fact that they keep doing things a little different.
It has a light up Bat-symbol, a launcher that shoots discs, a trap door that opens and a lot of other little gadgets that make Batman toys so fun, but it's also cool for ages much older that 3.
He loves all of the Batman Imaginext stuff, but it is hard to find a place to put it when not being played with.
They are always delivering in the cool factor and this one rises up to meet the consumers expectations. The bottom of the cave is made of rocks and there are swinging contraptions breaking apart the castle-like section.
