  • What buyers say about Fleischmann's Instant Yeast

I have been making a lot of bread from scratch lately, and one of the main cost killers besides bread flour was picking up a tiny jar of yeast for $7 at the grocery store, this was enough for maybe 6 batches of bread.

I love that this yeast makes my bread taste like normal bread and I don't have to worry about it.

I don't have any city water, but we have a 3 bathroom home and the use of a large home made it necessary to have our septic tanks drained.

I have bought this pack a number of times and am very pleased with the price, which is what I would pay for just one pound around this area.

I had argued with my wife about the difference between the yeast and the bread machine rapid rise yeast, but she said it was the same yeast and that it produced great bread.

    A:

Sorbitan is listed as one of the ingredients on the package in the form of "sorbitan monostearate." The full ingredients list includes yeast, sorbitan monostearate and ascorbic acid.
