  • What buyers say about Red Star, Yeast Active Dry

This variety of Red Star yeast contains only one ingredient yeast, which is no preservatives, and I love to hear of any other brands or varieties that are this pure.

I needed yeast and I searched all over the place but couldn't find it here on Amazon. The best use date is two years from now and I have already used one pack.

I have used the yeast brand for a long time and have never had any issues with it. It arrived packaged well among other items in an order.

I used the yeast in the bread machine to make a loaf, and it rose just as it was supposed to.

The individual package is good, but the size is too small.

    Common Questions

    Q:

How many pAcks do you have?

    A:

You can tear off each one of the three packs as you may need them.

    Q:

Is it appropriate to use this in a bread machine?

    A:

Yes. We use it in the machine several times a week.

    Q:

    Why is it so expensive?

    A:

The reason the cost is so high is that it's in high demand, and if that's the case, the price will rocket or be unavailable.

    Q:

Do you need Whole Foods prime or is it free ship with prime?

    A:

You can get a free ship with Prime.

    Q:

I need a non-rapid rise yeast for this recipe, is it rapid rise?

    A:

It is not a rapid rise yeast.
