    The first section of this book with me made my 5 year old start to read at a rapid rate, and this is the reason the series is winning all the awards.


    There are some connections to things, but she will often do page after page and enjoy it. My older daughter has a 2nd grade book, it is not as big of a hit as this one is.


    When I first opened it, it was full of all kinds of activities, my nephew will be starting kindergarten this year and he was engaged the whole time.
