  • Common Questions

    Q:

If this product isn't used within 24 hours after the seal is removed, will it go bad?

    A:

If you reseal it, put it in a ziplock and put it in the refrigerator, but take it out before the next use if it's very thick and hard to keep at room temperature.

    Q:

I don't know if this will bond wood tomw, or if I should use the 5200.

    A:

    No. But DP-8005 might.

    Q:

Can this sealant be used to fill in the gaps between the tiles in the shower?

    A:

It can, and it is, but don't do it, it's permanent.

    Q:

Will there be a flap down on the rubber pond liner? I want it to stay layer flat.

    A:

It says in the specifications that it remains flexible, so it should work, but you might have to apply some glue to the surface to give it a little more 'tooth'.

    Q:

Does the product need a special gun or tool?

    A:

I was able to squeeze enough out by hand to complete my small project, but it was very difficult to do without an applicator.
