If you reseal it, put it in a ziplock and put it in the refrigerator, but take it out before the next use if it's very thick and hard to keep at room temperature.

It can, and it is, but don't do it, it's permanent.

It says in the specifications that it remains flexible, so it should work, but you might have to apply some glue to the surface to give it a little more 'tooth'.
Does the product need a special gun or tool?
I was able to squeeze enough out by hand to complete my small project, but it was very difficult to do without an applicator.
