  • What buyers say about Aspercreme Max Strength Lidocaine Pain Relief Patch

They are not expected to completely elimate the pain but to reduce it. Sometimes they are more effective than the morphine injections since the patches last up to 12 hours.

I was prescribed 5% lidocaine patches and when I ran out of them, I bought these and they were just as good, except for the small ones. They also sell a large one that I have tried but didn't.

I'm not sure why so many reviews say they don't stick, mine stayed in place for the whole 12 hours, I wore loose dresses because bending over to put on pants, and I am woman with no hair on my back.

I had to take pills for years because the insurance company wouldn't cover them, but now I use this product and it works just as well as the patches my doctor gave me.

I've used the patch for a few months now and it seems to be helping my back pain, so I'd give it more stars if they could make it stick better.

    Common Questions

    Q:

What is the size of each patch?

    A:

I don't have one with me, but my gut reaction says it's 4x6.

    Q:

Is it possible to cut these patches into smaller patches without ruining them?

    A:

Leave the patch on the backing to protect patches until you are ready to use it, but cut it into smaller sizes if you are ready to use it.

    Q:

Does it stick to the skin or not?

    A:

It's stuck to my back for 12 hours and also to my shoulder.

    Q:

How many are inside the box?

    A:

There are 5 in a box. My wife has been using them with success to reduce back pain for many months, she replaces them every other day.

    Q:

Is it possible to add some cream to the complete area of the right side of the back?

    A:

If you can use the cream all over the painful area, that might work better, even though the patches don't seem to stay on all that well.
