The poster putty is an excellent product, I have used this type of product since about 1987 when a gal I worked with pulled a small, about 2 12 inch x 2 12 inch pack of magic wall glue out of her desk drawer and started decorating the office.
I used a long rope to roll a bunch of them around the base of the faucet and it provided a water barrier.
This product is much better than using thumb tacks or tape for posters and wall art, and it's easy to apply and remove without leaving holes or pulling off paint.
This is a great deal for poster putty, not to mention the fact that you don't have to buy tiny packs in other stores.
We did not have to fill nail holes or repaint when they left because we used poster putty to put picture and posters up on walls.
