  • What buyers say about 3M Super 77 Multipurpose Permanent Spray Adhesive Glue, Paper, Cardboard, Fabric, Plastic, Metal, Wood

I took the old hood pad off and scrubbed it clean to make sure it was a good fit for the new one.

I used it to reline some shelves and it works as advertised. Setting time allows you to pull up and rearrange if you need to, but it is difficult to remove if you get it on your hands.

3M's products are always good quality and this is no exception.

Super 77 is one of the best spray adhesive's out there. I use it in many applications around the shop.

This product is wonderful and the problem solved by it. Those of you that have had a drooping car headliners can relate to how annoying they can be.

    Common Questions

    Q:

Can this product be used to adhere my foam backed vinyl wall covering to rigid foam insulation?

    A:

I used it to adhere fabric to acoustic insulation, so I would imagine that's a similar application.

    Q:

Is it possible to glue car floor carpet to metal side panels?

    A:

I think so, depending on the kind of backing the carpet has. The glue was easy to work with, and has held up for 7 or so years, with no sign of deterioration.

    Q:

    Will this product dry transparent?

    A:

It doesn't dry off white or creamy.

    Q:

    Does it mist or stream?

    A:

It sprays a nice mist, and most others I have tried are sloppy and not uniform.

    Q:

Is it possible that this will bond cotton fabric to cotton fabric?

    A:

Don't soak any surface, this stuff should be barely not quite dry as it hits the surface.
