No, the intercom is helmet to helmet and does not use your cell phone. It works very well, much better than expected, with clear voice communication at 3 to 400 yards. I have not yet tried it at that distance.
I need a wider visor, but I'm not sure if anyone has used a different brand visor with the R1 helmet.
The Sena visor is pretty unique and can be used with other helmets.
Is it possible to size the helmet to 21 inches, but I need a small size?
The band can be adjusted down much smaller, since the helmet runs small.
