I could not put it down, it was an excellent update to Alan Moorehead's classic.

This was a dry book, but it was worth it for the research and hard work that went into it.

I wanted to know more about the places I had been to so I was interested in this book. The tales are there, and many of them, like the explorers who were privileged but brave men.
