The front and back of my hardcover have the same useful maps as the inside covers, which are burgundy with gold lettering on the spine.

She finds obscure historical events like the assassination of President Garfield, the Amazon adventure of former President Teddy Roosevelt, and the young exploits of Winston Churchill in South Africa, and turns them into top-notch popular history.

The story is an almost unbelievable adventure, as was evident when he was finally safe after two weeks on the run.

I have already devoured two other biographies of U.S. Presidents Garfield and Roosevelt, so I was very interested in the story of how the great leader of the world escaped from captivity in the midst of the Boer War.

He is fortunate to have found help in the form of others during his imprisonment and subsequent escape across South Africa.
