  • What buyers say about Scribbling the Cat: Travels with an African Soldier

I think a writer has to try to find words, but who is to say that you won't like it?

I liked the honest writing and descriptions.

I like to read books that are simple to read, and Scribbling the Cat is one of those books. I can relate to her experiences, as I have family from Africa, and many of her descriptions evoked strong memories.

K reminds us that we are all capable of good and evil in equal measure, as Africa is typified by cruelty and generosity, pain and joy, enormity and scarcity, beauty and horror.
