What buyers say about The Boer War, 1899-1900
I had previously read Giles Foden's book, and I found this one to be very interesting, especially in relation to the interviews with the survivors of the Boer War.
The analysis of the key political players was very detailed and included a wide range of views and opinions from colonial and Boer figures.
The author has been praised for not only reexamining many documents and parliamentary records but also interviewing over 50 survivors of the Boer War, including people from the native community.
We got there in the end.
It was just as it should be.
