A group of friends, including a young teen and her boyfriend, go on a quest to stop a powerful racist in an African desert.
I enjoyed following Onyesomwu and her friends through the desert and I also liked the strength and equality of her relationship with the love interest, Mwita.
There are wonderful relationships that develop and change along the way, and I enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy to experience new and different people, ideas, and things.
The story was very well written and I would recommend it to anyone.
