This is a wonderful book about Marcus, his journey from being adopted in Ethiopia to becoming a Chef and how he found his passion for cooking from his Grandmother.

I was drawn to Marcus' story as well as his accomplishments, and I have always liked him on the Food Network shows, but now I am looking to see more of him.

This is a wonderful book about Marcus, who was adopted from Ethiopia to Sweden with his Sister and began his journey to becoming a great Chef after finding his passion for cooking from his Grandmother.

It is a very interesting memoir, and one that is very gripping for the reader.

We went from Sweden to Europe, to America, to Ethiopia, and finally to Harlem, in order to find the finest spices to make his food choices, and he opened a restaurant named Red Rooster that is an homage to those that came before.
