It's easy to apply because it's consistency is easy to get onto your hair's surface. and it doesn't leave your hair greasy or oily.

If you have a humid environment, like a hot or humid day, you really don't want a thick lotion on your skin, otherwise it will cause your skin to be dry and stinky, and you won't be able to breath the air in the heat.
It smells just like the pure aloe Vera juice I drink, but it isn't a gel, it's a consistency that's slightly thicker than water, so it doesn't run out of your hand.
