The first thing they tell us is that clearing clutter will bring good things to our lives. This goes on for a number of chapters.
The book did offer some good ideas on how to deal with siblings when downsizing a parents stuff, but it didn't offer many new ideas for tidying up.
The book helped me realize that I am not alone in my struggles with downsizing and that there are ways to get through them. I have a long way to go but just knowing there are reasons for the emotions and helpful steps to get through them should encourage me to keep going.
I am working with this book to help me clear out a lot of my stuff.
