The author put in a lot of effort to write a book that was positive as I care for my mother with dementia.
It is a long and complicated journey for dementia caregivers to come to terms with and accept the dichotomy of presence and absence.
I am very happy that I found this book, it has given me information I need on how to navigate my husband's illness.
I was very impressed with the book but I was looking for something more for a daughter helping a mother and less for a husband helping their partner with dementia.
It's helpful in understanding the disease.
