  • What buyers say about Bostitch Air Compressor Combo Kit, 3-Tool (BTFP3KIT)

The compressor works well, it has an easy finger turn air release at the bottom, and the guns work well, only time will tell.

I bought this kit because I wanted it to match my other tools, and because I already have used it in my Youthbuild shop, which is black and yellow.

This starter kit is great for people who don't already have air-powered tools, and can be used with the included brad nailer, finish nailer and staple gun.

There is no guidance in the manual on which brand brads and staplers will work, just telling you to buy the Bostitch parts.

I like to compare a product to a competitor in order to get a better idea of where my opinion is based, and this is something I will be doing more often in the future.

    Common Questions

Is it possible to use a framing nailer on this compressor?

I own one and have used it for over a year. It will run any air blower, including Brads, Staples, floor nailers, and framing guns.

Is it possible to use this for roofing?

I have bought two of them and they both could handle the work load perfectly, and he said the compressor would run continuously and burn up well.

Should I buy an air hose if I buy this for my husband, or should I just buy something I know nothing about?

You may want to get a kit with an air gun, tire inflater and changeable fittings in the future.

Can you tell me how long it takes for pressure to build up on initial start up?

It is less than 5 minutes, but I have never specifically times it.

I'm not sure if anyone is aware that the trim nailer for this brand makes much larger nail holes than other brands.

I don't see how the trim nails holes can be any smaller than they are, and I am very pleased that I bought this model from a son-in-law who is in the building trade and owns one himself.
