The unit I paid $129 for was a 1978 quality model, and I am pretty sure it will be tough enough, since it arrived undamaged in the beat up box that many times was produced by the Amazon warehouse/UPS gauntlet.
I was hesitant about buying this compressor because I didn't know what it would be used for, but I have to say it is perfect for blowing up the tires on the mower and keeping the A/C running.
