  • What buyers say about DEWALT Air Compressor, 135-PSI Max, 1 Gallon (D55140)

The 2in brad nailer is the most useful nail for most people, with the length more of what they need and the compact shape making it easy to fit on a shelf.

It is quiet, light, and keeps up for home project trim, though I have found it a home in the corner of the shop.

I have kept it pressurized since I received it, and have never had an issue with it.

It works great, and is light to carry around. It is a 90- degree through valve so it doesn't rust shut like on other cheaper units with threaded metal tank drain valves.

This is not realistic during the winter months and it also creates a trip hazard, as I have seen my framing air nail gun handled by this unit.

    Common Questions

Is this 1 gallon compressor strong enough to work with a nail air nailer?

I don't know how long it will last, but if you are doing a lot of nail work, it will stay running.

    How is it charged?

I don't know how long it will take because the product had something broken and leaked air. I took it to the DeWalt service center which told me they have no idea when they could get the parts, but questioned even if it would be possible.

The ones in the description are not in line with the actual dimensions.

Its dimensions are 151"w x 81"h x 183"d, which is why you see them on the package. It's frustrating when you're trying to get meaningful info to make a buying decision.

Is it possible to use 220V?

The manual says 120 and 220, but it doesn't say anything about 220.

    What are the actual dimensions?

The unit is 9 inches tall, 18 inches from the handle to the rear of the unit and 15 inches wide.
