  • What buyers say about Makita MAC210Q Quiet Series, 1 HP, 2 Gallon, Oil-Free, Electric Air Compressor

It's not a good idea to run a roofing nailer 8 hours a day, but for most homeowners and do-it-yourselfers, it's hard to beat this one.

This one is very hard to beat for most homeowners and do-it-yourselfers, and you could save $50 if you never intend on moving it around.

The thing is better than anything I have owned, they were always loud and took forever to build pressure, but this thing is so quiet I can only use it a few times so far.

It worked well for one project, running a brad nailer for a shiplap project, and it was easy to grab and pack around, nice rubber feet, and a good regulator.

My old one would take several minutes to fully pressure a tank half the size, but this one is much quicker and I think it's worth the extra money.

    Common Questions

What is the engine of the vehicle?

We think it means cubic feet per minute, but we have to tell you that on the day the Makita was to be delivered, we were informed by Amazon that its truck lost the compressor en route to our house, so we bought a different brand.

What's inside the box, besides the air compressor?

It is just a compressor, cord, manual and you can add a hose if you want.

Is it possible for D fittings to plug into this unit?

The type D plug is used on this unit.

Is anyone trying to use this for s cm's 400xs high speed engraver?

I'm not sure as to the specifications for this engraver, but it is portable and quiet enough to use in almost any workspace.

    Are the starting Amps?

I don't know the specification but I have this compressor plugged into a 20 Amp breaker that my old compressor used to trip on a regular basis on start up.
