What buyers say about Dometic Brisk II Rooftop Air Conditioner, 13,500 BTU - Polar White (B57915.XX1C0)
The unit arrived within 4 days, and without any damage, after I researched it and ordered it on Amazon.
I ordered this one on Amazon because it was the best price and the fastest shipping, and it arrived within 4 days.
If you want to see how I installed this unit in my converted bus, which is becoming an RV, check out my video. I was able to complete it in half a day.
The a/c works great after opening the box and adjusting the screw, everyone in my crew is happy campers now, and this is the best upgrade I made to the camper for summer camping.
The only issue we had was a cracked shroud from shipping, but Amazon Customer Service took care of us without any problems, so A+ to their customer care., This is a great advance and improvement over the stock 1
Common Questions
Is it possible that the inside non-ducted vents and gasket are included?
The gasket that fits to the roof is what it does have, but it doesn't have the inside ducted vents and controls.
Is it possible to install a regular household thremostat anlog or a digital one to work with this unit?
There was no power wire in my 5th Wheel, so I used a battery powered thermostat.
Is it the one with the heat pump?
This is the only unit that you can use, but there is an add on option for a heat strip that can be installed.
What else is required to install in an existing ducted system?
It took less than an hour to install, and I didn't need any additional parts.
Is it necessary to purchase a ceiling air distribution box if we are going to use this model as a non ducted unit?
If you don't, you will have a weird hole in your ceiling, but it won't work, and the air distribution box helps separate the warm intake air and cool exhaust air sides.
