It will always beep when it works, but it will also speed up when it dectics. If you're not sure if it's working, put the nozel next to the ac line check valve and push the valve in untill gas comes out.
Does this work for detecting leaks in r12a systems?
The device can detect R12 and R12a.
Does this cause gas leaks orLP?
Sorry, it just detect refrigerant leakage.
