What buyers say about Blueair Blue Pure 211+ Replacement Filter, Particle and Activated Carbon
The unit is great, quiet, and powerful, and the filter is good, but I would get another if I had more rooms.
The Winix 5500 made me feel unwell and the unit burnt out after only 2 weeks, but the filter is still good and I will get another if I need one.
The air purifier has been great for my elderly mother, who has been suffering from allergies, and I put it in her room because it made her better.
The Blue Air 211+ is a great purifier and it makes a good fan, which is likely why they now sell a fan that looks like the top of the 211+.
The Blueair Blue Pure air purifier is quiet, well designed, and efficient, and I like it, but I don't like the fact that I have to buy it less than two years after it was promised.
Common Questions
What does it mean when the touch light is red?
If you don't see it, it's time to replace the filter. Before you can buy a new one, you need to remove the cloth prefilter from the bottom of the purifier.
Do these filters last a long time? I want to buy several at a time and make sure they don't expire.
If you need them, I would recommend purchasing them as you need them, but keep them in a dry space as they may break down over time.
I don't know if it's me or if the price jumped up, but the last time I bought the 211+ filter it was only $49.99.
I buy them "like new" because they can't sell them as new once the packaging has been opened.
I bought a purifier, but I can't have it shipped to my house because I don't have a printer.
I had just ordered the same filter in August, but it was suddenly blocked in California. After a very frustrating conversation with a Rep, she could not identify why the sudden block happened but advised it could be at the bequest of the manufacturer, Blue Air, or a new law preventing the shipment
Why isn't this shipped to California?
You can try going directly to the blueair website, I am in Ca and get filters all the time.
