I was confused as to whether or not these fitting the HAP412GN would work after reading in the FAQ and reviews that it didn't, but I went ahead and took a chance as the dimensions and look indicated that they would, and they do.
I used a new carbon filter and it was perfect, it slip in and I like that it has a ring to keep the air out.
The carbon filters are great because of the fact that a family member is highly allergic and they stay on 24/7.
The filter was easy to put in and I could tell the air quality in our bedroom was bad when I got back from work about 8 hours later.
I keep it in my bedroom, turned it off for a couple of days, and I ate dinner there and the smell lingered for hours, I didn't remember food smells taking so long to go away before.
