    Is it for heating intake registers or just the dozen or so floor vents in my home?

    A:

    I put them on the underside of our wooden floor vents, cautioning that they might slow down the amount of air going through the vents, but do seem to trap some dust. I removed all of them after a few days.

    I think it is a very good product and it doesn't say anything about particulates.

    You can buy Velcro at any hardware store.

    This isn't a HEPA filter, but a simple furnace/AC filter. Even after having the air ducts cleaned, dust was coming out.
