I have tried many different filters and they are all good, but they are not the same and I will stick with these from here on out.
If you are concerned about allergies or other fine particles, you might want to use a Merv11 filter, as it does a better job at removing them than the Merv8 does.
They hold up well and are strong enough to not get pulled in towards the fan. I notice a difference in the air quality throughout my home and they do well at not recirculating any type of odors as well.
I read reviews and chose this brand and size and MERV rating, but I did not regret it, as there was a noticeable gap between the filter and the actual housing.
