I switched back to a better filter, the next step up, and with that step up, I wouldn't recommend these at all.
I was almost not able to buy this because of the low reviews towards the top, but I did and it will get me through the next year and a half of filter changes.
If you need some cheap filters, get them from Lowes and get a higher MERV rating.
It seems to work well despite the Spartan design, so upgrade to 5 stars if it works as intended.
It was no different than if I bought one from a big-box retailer and brought it home, they fit perfectly in my return.
