    I put this on the smell and it went away in a matter of moments. If you don't want to do the labor of sawing pipe, you can get a bag of charcoal.


    We were having a problem with the sewer smell coming from the vent pipes in our new home, so we decided to buy 3 from OdorHog.


    I found that the smell was pushing down into the yard because of the downward air pressure, because our house is built on the side of a mountain.


    The problem was solved when the carbon was adjusted according to the instructions on the web site.

    If you run water or flush toilets in your home, you will probably see the smell of OdorHogs, heavy duty carbon filters designed for homes that have a standard vent system that has enough positive pressure to push through the densely packed, carbon filter when you run water and or flush toilets.

    Is it possible to make them with solar fans for outhouse use?

    We don't have a sealed vent system to filter the odor.
