I've been using Sploofy for a long time, since the first version replaced my plastic bottle filled with activated charcoal. It works very well, simply because the filter is a large amount of charcoal, which mimics exactly my do-it-yourself version in effectiveness.
I ordered another pack to see if I want to stick with Sploofy, and the last one included a coupon for a free filter if a review was left, which I have mixed feelings about.
Sploofy V3 is my number one pick for ease of use and function, because it is the only filter I have used that works great and lasts longer than the other brands I have used.
Sploofy works very well, because the filter is a large amount of charcoal, which mimics exactly my do-it-yourself version in effectiveness, however it costs a lot more and I use it more often.
I used to make my own but then I got a smoke buddy and I love it because it cuts the smell the best I could. They both worked good, but I wanted to cut the smell the best I could, so I tried the sploofy and i love it.
