  • What buyers say about Avalon Bay Air Fryer

If you don't get this brand, you should definitely get one that has a rack, lamb and pork chops, and chicken filets, because they're better than the oven and you don't have to smoke to set off your smoke alarms.

We tried super thin slices of veggies and made our own vegetable chips, but I wish this basket was larger so that I could fit more chicken pieces when we make the breaded fried chicken.

I made french fries in the frozen variety which turned out good, but the homemade kind was a bit dry, but still low in fat.

The machine is quiet and there is a quick reference guide on the top of it, which makes it easy to refer to how long and at what temperature to cook my favorite foods.

I think the air fryer is more efficient than a toaster oven at cooking items in the center and achieving the desired outer crispness more quickly. The air fryer also seems to heat the center of items faster than a toaster oven and achieve the desired outer crispness more quickly.

    Common Questions

Has anyone cooked a full chicken in this? What is the maximum weight of chicken it can hold?

I cook whole chickens in here and try to stay within 4.5-5.25 lbs. I put oil/butter and spices in and do 30 minbreast down at 360 and flip for another 30 min.

Does it come with an instructions or a cookbook to tell you when the food is ready to eat?

There is an instruction booklet and a full settings page that shows you the settings for everything from frozen french fries to baking cakes.

    What's the available capacity?

Since it needs airflow, it's smaller than you think.

Is it possible to cook breaded fried oysters?

I've done other beaded things and oysters come out crispy, but I haven't done breaded oysters.

Is it possible to use it to pop popcorn?

The air fryer isn't designed to keep the popcorn from flying all over, and it doesn't have a container to hold the popcorn from flying all over.
