What buyers say about Paula Deen 8.5QT (1700 Watt) Large Air Fryer, Rapid Air Circulation System, Square Single Basket System
I bought this air fryer from a tv network that Paula Deen is affiliated with, I knew I wanted larger capacity and simpler dial knobs, rather than the digital controls that were found on other air fryers.
I love that it's the perfect white color for my kitchen and it hides the smell and the food away in its basket.
I like it but it's not for everyone and if you're short on counter space it might not work for you.
The dial came loose from the housing after less than three years, but I was able to use it for a few weeks and set a timer on my phone.
It is very easy to use, and some think that being manual means there is less that could go wrong with it.
How is the single knob used for both time and temp?
There are 2 knobs, one for temp and one for timer, and it is very easy to clean.
Is there a warranty on this?
I think there is an option for a warranty at checkout.
What aren't the temperatures and cook times for eggs, bacon, fish sticks, and tator tots?
There was a book of paulas recipes and suggestions for cooking times, and I like it when I make bacon in mine thick sliced 400 about 12 minutes.
Where is the vent?
I have a place on my serving bar for the vent, it's in the back of the machine.
Does it include full instructions for the meat?
There is a 65 page booklet with instructions on what settings you should use and a single page chart that tells you what temperature and time you should set for various meats.
