  • What buyers say about Philips Kitchen Appliances Digital Twin TurboStar Airfryer XXL

I love that the XXL air fryer allows us to cook for two people without having to cook in batches.

The vent is out back and it works better than the competitor because it doesn't make the house smell like it's cooking.

I cook my wings in milk and then roll them in flour and put them in a bowl of sauce to finish it off.

It was better than deep-fat fried chicken and chicken-fried steaks, and not a hint of heartburn, either! We use it on a counter top because it's easy to push against the back wall.

I have the smaller version of the turbo star from Philips, but sometimes I want to cook bigger size of meal, and this XXL is great for that, (They are two great air fryers ) Very happy with this purchase.

    Common Questions

    Is there a smoke issue?

The XXL is better than the XL in terms of smoke issues.

I believe the old version of the xxl digital fryer has 2 layers, but the new one only has 1 layer.

There is an insert below the basket that channels grease and drippings into another similar looking'star' chamber below it.

What is the difference between HD9650 and HD9654?

The only things that are not included with the two models are the packaging and accessories.

What is the difference between 963096 and 9650/ 96?

I think the 9641/98 and the 99 are the same, but the 99 comes with a cookbook, which has really changed the way I cook.

This fryer is three times the price of other fryers. Why is it so expensive?

We've owned 5 and returned all the others, but this one is the best.
