What buyers say about Power XL Power Air Fryer 5.3 Quart
The Air Fryer can rewarm frozen foods like fish and onion rings, instead of them going through the microwave.
The tip I used made a big difference, as the basket slides right in if you use a scoop motion.
I like to roasted baby potatoes, they are good tossed with parm and garlic, and they are my favorite vegetable.
I bought frozen chicken wings from a store that I could cook at home and use all of the sauces I have, and I think they tasted better than fresh wings.
The potatoes tasted good, not like normal microwave potatoes, and the clean up was easy, just wiping out the basket with a soapy sponge and rinsing them out to dry them out.
Common Questions
Does the food taste like it is deep fried or baked in an oven?
It's not greasy at all, but it does get "crisped" when I use it for vegetables. I use mine a lot for vegetables. Coconut shrimp is awesome and the pork chops are great!
I bought a powerfryer that came with a basket divider that had rubber stops on the side, do I leave them on when I cook?
I called the company and they said they could have included the information in the packaging. Cook different foods on each side of the basket at the same time.
Is there a kabob rack that will fit the power air fryer?
If you search for "air fryer accessories" then look for the size of the air fryer you want. One set is for the 3.7 QT but would still work in the 5.3 or larger.
How did this come out?
I used my xl air fryer to cook 8 chicken drum sticks. Set to 400 degrees and cook for 10 minutes. After turn over legs and give it another 10 minutes, it's perfect.
It costs $70.00 to mail it back to the manufacturer, but you don't know that it is only a 60 day limited warranty. What is the warranty?
I did not know before purchase and after calling customer service to see about a replacement, they would replace it for a $20 fee, but since it costs $60+ to mail it back, not worth it for a machine that breaks so much.
