  • What buyers say about Brother MFCJ450DW Wireless with Scanner, Copier and Fax Inkjet Printer

The Brother printer is better than the HP printer, it works better without jamming, and it has higher quality output and lower cost than the HP printer.

The printer's cartridges do not last long, but you can get replacement ones that are Medium Extra Large.

The printer is the best I have ever owned, it was setup without a hitch, and every function has worked perfectly, I have only a cell phone and do not use the fax function.

The printer is generally sold for a reasonable price but it also makes up for it's after sale ink costs by using black ink.

The number pad is a very simple and easy to use device, and it's very easy to set up and use, especially if you have a computer or a smart device that has a built-in number pad.

    Common Questions

    Q:

Is it possible to print in black and white if you run out of color ink?

    A:

I had to get documents printed under a deadline and I would suggest keeping a Brother b&w laser for color, faxing and scanning.

    Q:

    Does it include ink cartridges?

    A:

I have the same printer, mfcj450dw, I am still using the original Brother ink starter cartridges that came with the printer, haven't run out yet, starter cartridges are the LC 101, not much ink in them, the LC103 are the high yield cartridges, and

    Q:

I don't know if the mfc j450dw printer will work on wireless.

    A:

Yes. You just have to connect it to your computer using the included cable. I've gone through 3 printers in 3 years, all with some problems, but this Brother far exceeds every one of them, and works flawless.

    Q:

I'm leaning toward buying Brother because I'm told that ink costs are less expensive than other manufactures.

    A:

You can't print in black if you don't have any color left. If you don't have any color left, you have to use Brother ink.

    Q:

Is it possible to scan multiple pages into one PDF file?

    A:

Yes. You can use the PDF file to make multiple pages into a single file.
