This model is a bit smaller and doesnt look very impressive from the outside, so I didn't have high expectations, but it has been hanging out for weeks now and I can hear that it keeps itself very busy; so much so that I thought there was something wrong with it.
The bug zapper is waterproof, has a ring at the top for hanging, and it is holding up to the high winds we have had in our area.
The amount of bugs that fly into my house has decreased since I used this product, and I like to open the doors and windows to my house in the spring, when there will usually be a few bugs that fly into the house.
I think that if you use this in a patio setting it might get a little annoying, as it is light compared to what I had pictured.
We hooked it up to see how it works, but it did manage to eliminate most of the bugs that seem to invade our houseplants.
