I used it on our patio to suck up grass clippings from a looped outdoor rug, and it did a great job. I put on the attachment and did a set of carpeted stairs and all of the living room upholstery.
The performance of the corded vacuum is great and I have been using it many times since receiving the new one. There are a couple of small marks on it from previous use but the performance is great.
I have arthritis and the shark navigator pro has never been painful to use. I ordered this one and I am in love with it. It is easy to use, has the power of a larger unit, and does bare floors.
The vacuum has a built-in charging light that tells you how much charge you have left and it only takes a couple hours to charge.
I love the lever to max it out and the battery life lasts for my entire house.

There are only 2 filters in the motor unit that protect the motor.

The only difference between the suction power in carpet and hard floor is when the beater brush is on a hard floor, the brush will spin slowly, if it is on carpet, the beater brush will spin faster.
