  • What buyers say about Acer Nitro XZ342CK Pbmiiphx 34" 1500R Curved WQHD (3440 x 1440) VA Gaming Monitor

I think it's expected that this is on the higher end of the price spectrum since I tend to lean more towards value-oriented monitors and such.

The perfect storm that has formed over the recent years in display technology has arisen and this monitor perfectly highlights the perfect storm that has arisen.

Even raising the brightness won't fix the monitor's dark setting, because it makes it three times darker than the lowest setting.

I have a monitor mounted on this stand and it is sturdy, but I am not using it at all since I have this monitor mounted, and the power cable is straight, which is nice.

The monitor is bright and has a balanced color and brightness throughout, that is fine with me.

    Common Questions

If gsync shows up and works for nvidia cards, this monitor is exactly what I'm looking for.

When you enable Freesync Premium on the monitor, it lets you enable gysnc on the card anyway, and it seems to work fine.

Is it compatible with a vesa mount?

This monitor has the same compatibility as the previous models.

Which cables are included with the monitor?

There is a display port cable and HDMI cable.

Is this monitor screen glossy or matt?

It has a finish similar to that of a matt finish.

How is ghosting and smearing observed in dark games and with this monitor?

The monitor response is fast enough without overdrive up to about 120, and at 144 it struggles a little, but most games with anything other than the best graphics cards are gonna be at 60-120 frames anyway.
