About ASUS 15.6" Portable Monitor (MB168B) - WXGA (1366 x 768), Auto-rotatable

The MB168B is the world's slimmest and lightest companion display. It features ASUS EzLink technology that offloads graphics processing from the PC to dedicated hardware in the monitor - it just needs sufficient USB ports to drive up to five monitors at the same time, regardless of its own graphics capability just needing sufficient ports for a single monitor to be powered by one cable*. ' One cable does the job, Adding another monitor has never been so easy,' says the spokesman.

  • What buyers say about ASUS 15.6" Portable Monitor (MB168B) - WXGA (1366 x 768), Auto-rotatable

There are a few reasons to buy the MB169B+IPS model, a fair review says, and it's a good spare monitor for coding, watching video, researching, and project work.

This monitor is light and thin, and has a high resolution, but it isn't very good in landscape mode, and it isn't powered by a lot ofusb-powered choices.

It's a great form factor, works over a single USB 3.0 connection, and has a great resolution, but it's washed out colors and the display feels sluggish.

I'm glad I got this, it's comparable to most laptop screens, and I use graphics software that has a separate output window, so I can work both within and outside of the computer.

You might want to add it to the purchase as it takes up at least one of the laptop's old-style USB connections.
