  • What buyers say about ASUS TUF Gaming VG34VQL1B 34” Curved HDR Monitor, WQHD (3440x1440)

The winner of this competition is the ASUS TUF Gaming VG35V, the clear winner being the ViewSonic Elite XG350R-C.

It has slightly more settings, like Gamma, Hertz limiter, which Asus does not, and two custom slots to save your settings, as well as being less intuitive to navigate, apply settings, and back out of a setting.

I am looking at the new 165Hz model, since Amazon has a combined listing for some reason.

The highest and lowest hertz this monitor can handle is both 165 and 60, which is not very high for 2K or 4K users.

The view is smooth and the sound is good but it may be an issue for some, you can always adjust the sound.

    Common Questions

    Is it free-sync or g-sync?

The monitor is compatible with G-SYNC.

Is it possible to change it to 144hz if my gpu can't handle 165hz?

You have to choose between the 165hz setting and the 144hz setting in the options menu for your graphics card's display settings.

What is the height of the monitor without the stand?

It is about 13 7/16" from the bottom of the lower screen to the top of the upper screen.

Would this be a good purchase for the ps5 coming late December since the spec is up?

I can't get anything beyond 60 frames on PS5 and it's very disappointing.

Please don't include an item package in the weight of the package.

I didn't weigh my package, but I would say it was less than 30 lbs.
