  • What buyers say about ASUS VP249QGR 23.8” Gaming Monitor 144Hz Full HD

It is a pure butter that can be described as the jump from a 75hz refresh rate to 144hz, it is something that can't be described other than as a game-changer and it gives any game you play a whole new dimension or quality.

The monitor's interface is very intuitive, with 7 buttons on the right side, you can navigate through the settings of the monitor or change them.

It's well worth the hefty price point after going through a couple of similarly priced monitors that didn't work with my setup, I decided to just pay the extra cost and go for this monitor.

I wanted it to be good for work and casual use, so I searched for an affordable panel, rather than the more expensive ones like TN or VA.

I can't speak to the accuracy of the colors, but I can say that there are many ways to choose from, each of which you can modify to your own visual preference.

    Common Questions

    Q:

Is the monitor vesa mount compatible with this?

    A:

Yes, you need to remove the screws mount to the stand first, but it's really easy, there are 4 rubber covers over the screws they just come out.

    Q:

Will this work for the ps5? It will be at 120hz with an hdmi.

    A:

It will be a great budget option for the PS5 and will have a decent refresh rate, but will not be able to support 4k.

    Q:

If my pc can't take full advantage, would it be a bad idea to have a 144hz monitor?

    A:

If you're running a lot of your settings on high and ultra, your performance is going to tank because that's when you're running on older hardware.

    Q:

My graphics card supports dp 1.4, but the monitor says it supports dp 1.2. Will this be an issue?

    A:

You won't have issues if the display port is backwards compatible.

    Q:

What is the port version on this?

    A:

The displayport 1.2 is in the version and HDMI 1.4 is in the other.
