  • What buyers say about Dell Computer Ultrasharp U2415 24.0-Inch Screen LED Monitor

There is no support for 16:9 scaling for devices such as game consoles, DVD/blu-ray players, or other media devices.

I bought two U 2415b monitors from Dell in October of last year. The exact model number is U 2415b, Rev A00., PROS:, and it's an excellent monitor with a great picture quality and great viewing angles.

I have been using Dell for a few months now, and I have to say, it is a very good computer, very fast, very easy to work with, and very good value for money.

The factory-calibrated defaults left a lot to be desired, but I did not deduct a star because with a bit of research, I found that the screen had a yellow tint that almost drove me insane.

The addition of the DisplayPort output for daisy-chaining allows me to run all of my monitors from my laptop's sole output, which is a very valuable addition, as I used to be limited to just a single monitor before.

    Common Questions

    Q:

    I don't use video or gaming, so I'm wondering if I should get the U 2415 or P 2415Q.

    A:

I'm a programmer and I would recommend the P 2415Q monitor, it has a HiDPI display, and it will make the text look great on your phone.

    Q:

Does it come with any HDMI, DVI, or DP cables?

    A:

I bought a new video card that supported Display Port but found out that the mini-DP cable that came with the monitor wouldn't work.

    Q:

The comparison chart says it is an OLED panel, but I don't know if it is a standard led.

    A:

    not useful

    Q:

Is there anyone who has set up two of these with the DisplayPort 1.2 Daisy chain config?

    A:

So, 1st enable 1.2 using on monitor buttons only on the monitor connected to the computer.

    Q:

Has anyone connected my monitor to the HDMI?

    A:

Don't use VGA, it's an analog signal, and you're not likely to get a perfect image with today's LCD monitors.
