What buyers say about MSI Full HD Gaming Red LED Non-Glare Super Narrow Bezel 1ms 2560 x 1440 144Hz Refresh Rate 2K Resolution Free Sync 27” Curved Gaming Monitor (Optix MAG27CQ)
The max refresh rate that the HDMI cable will allow you is 60-120hz., so be aware that you can't use it with a computer that doesn't have G-sync compatibility.
The screen is perfect for my custom loop build and I would recommend choosing thehz you want at the start of the build to ensure you get the best performance out of it.
It serves its purpose well, for example for gaming, photo editing, and movies, and you could use an IPS monitor for that.
It's running on 120hz and everything is smooth, even moving the mouse around feels satisfying. This helped me improve my response times and precision when it came to gaming.
To get the best display possible, you should use a display port cable that is at least 24 inches long and set the refresh rate to 144hz.
Is it possible to put the monitor in the wall so it floats?
It's not actually floating if it's mounted on the wall.
Please don't say "2" if you want to know the difference between this (optix g 27c2) and the msi optix g 27c.
The optix g 27c2 has a wide view angle and adaptive sync, which are both features that the non-2 doesn't have.
I just saw this product and I'm wondering if it supports VESA mounting.
I was able to mount the holes to my monitor stand with the help of machine screws and 12.5mm spacers.
I don't know if it comes with displayport cable for 144hz or I have to buy it too.
You would need to purchase a display port cable to use it.
Is this monitor compatible with a wall?
This has VESA 100 x 100mm mounting.
