    There are a lot of small features that show that someone really smart was working on the design of this product.


    I have had this kettle for about a month and it is great, it has a blue light when it is on, the cap stays open when you want, and it is quick-boiling water, which is much quicker than my gas stove.


    I like the glass container, the convenience of boiling water in a little over a minute, and the fact that it can be lit up while pouring, so it doesn't come in contact with the water.


    If you need a cup and a quarter, leave a bit of water in it. It makes it easier to clean and it keeps the minerals in solution.


    I bought this kettle because I wanted a cheap one, but I was also impressed with how quickly it boiled, as well as the way it lights up with blue LEDs, which my partner dubbed "space age-y."

    Does water come in contact with metal or plastic?

    The bottom is glass with a plastic mesh filter, and the water does not touch the glass.
