What buyers say about KOIOS Electric Kettle 1.8L Hot Water Boiler Teapot & Glass Tea Kettle
It is easy to see how much water is left after a day of use. My led stopped working on the second day, probably got a faulty unit, will replace it.
It takes about five minutes to boil, but it will start bubbling within a minute and stop when you close the lid.
I was drawn to this kettle because it looked so sleek and elegant with all the glass that goes up to the spout, but it turns out it is actually a very functional and great electric kettle, it is very easy to use, holds a great amount of water.
The product is very smart and I can't find any flaws with it, -water warms within 8 minutes using a cool tap, and the power cord is easy to wrap around the base, and be put away without any issues.
It's been about 2 weeks since I've been using it, and I love how it allows you to see through it, so you know when you need to clean it, and cleaning is easy.
Is it possible that any plastic parts come into contact with the boiling water?
The lid and handle have plastic, but they don't touch the boiling water.
I want to know if the electric kettle is bpa free.
It is free from BPA. All of the plastic is outside the glass kettle, which will not directly contact with water.
Is it possible to put tea bags in the kettle to brew tea?
If you want it just for water, you'd have to wash it.
Does the base sit flat or is it soft?
The cord is wrapped around the base and I think it's more stiff than soft.
How does it work if it's corded?
You lift the kettle off the base when it is done and warms up.
