About Mueller Premium 1500W Electric Kettle Water Heater with SpeedBoil Tech

MUELLER electric kettle is more energy-efficient than a microwave or electric stove-top. It saves your time since you need a very short time to boil your water, saving your money. The longer it boils, the more it loses its flavor.

  • What buyers say about Mueller Premium 1500W Electric Kettle Water Heater with SpeedBoil Tech

The kettle holds a nice volume of water, enough for a few teapots, and it's not too heavy to hold one-handed when it's filled to capacity.

The kettle is heavy but does not present a problem when pouring and its large enough for a firm grip.

I bought this kettle from this company for the second time, and I wanted to start helping other shoppers, so I decided to leave a review.

I thought that since it had more plastic surface area than most other products, it would start looking worn down quicker, but it hasn't, and the glass is more resistant to mineral deposit build up than other products.

The nanny used it for 2.5 months and she was happy about it, it heated fast enough for her to get an electric water heater.

    Common Questions

Is there any plastic parts in the kettle?

When you empty the kettle, the plastic top contacts water.

Will it power on and boil the water when it is turned on in the morning, if it is plugged into a timed outlet that powers on in the morning?

Yes. I have a Wemo switch that connects to my alarm and the water starts heating in the kitchen when I turn it off.

Is the lid large enough to allow one to reach in and clean the inside of the pot, and is the handle small enough for arthritic hands to use?

I can barely get my hand in to clean, so it's a "no" if you have large or very large hands.

Which place is it made at?

Your computer is made in China, just like everything else in your home country.

I don't know if it's a design problem or if I'm faulty with the lid opening only about 45 degrees.

Yours is faulty, but you are not alone. Just like many other consumers' reviews state, it is a present manufacturing flaw.
