    I think they were worse than they were supposed to be, and I just got them from Amazon.


    The chair is tall even in its collapsed position and the wheels are amazing if you need to roll around your home.


    I was very happy with my purchase, I ordered the floor mat for carpet and it works perfectly, it's a clear 47 x 35 inch mat with a lip.


    The instructions for assembling the stool were not clear, and it was not easy to put together, but it was light and shiny, and rolls well on carpet and hardwood.


    The chair is made of high quality material and it is easy to assemble. You have to push the wheels into the base, but once they are in, they turn easily and seem to be in no danger of coming out.

    In the "Full Down" position from the floor to the top of the very Cushy/Firm 4" thick seat cushion measures 20-1/8", with the rear of the seat cushion being compressed with my 180# butt planted on it.

    The seat height was adjusted from 20 inches to 25 inches, but it seems from other answers that there is not consistency with the height range of chairs delivered.

    I use this stool at work to weld items on a work table which is 34" tall, I'm just 5 feet9", and it's as good as any stool like it.

    I haven't looked as this chair is at my mom's house, but it has the back attached to the chair seat and there are no screws or anything to do with it.
