  • What buyers say about Brother Inkjet Printer, MFC-J5845DW, INKvestment Color Inkjet All-in-One Printer

I used to love using the Ecotank printer, but I can't afford to use it anymore because I make junk journals and need to keep up with the ink on regular printers.

I have struggled with printers that have not been compatible with my internet network, but this printer is the first that I have found that works well on my network.

The printer is a bit of a tank, but it is well made and not likely to break if you make a mistake, as many other printers do.

Brother's attention to detail includes a full suite of software that can be downloaded and repack instructions printed on one of the box flaps so that you can repack the printer for shipping.

The problem with my Canon printer is that it runs out of its own stock very quickly, and it costs $20 for a blank and white one, so it's not easy to keep.

    Common Questions

Will it work with an iMac?

I use the older OS X 10.10.5 and not the recommended OS 10.11.6 or higher and my iMac provide me the right diver right away when I connected the printer to my wireless network and everything works fine.

Can I email a document directly to this printer, if it has it's own email address?

No but it has its own internet protocol address.

Will the fax work with my comcast phone service?

If you get a dial tone, all is good, but you need to call your provider for more information.

This was supposed to have 2 years of ink, but it only had 1 year. Where is the extra ink?

It depends on the package you purchased.

Is it possible that this will print Avery labels?

Brother doesn't recommend using this machine to print labels as they are outside of the machine's stated paper specifications.
