What buyers say about Brother MFCJ450DW Wireless with Scanner, Copier and Fax Inkjet Printer
The Brother printer is better than the HP one, it works better without jamming, it produces high quality output, and it's a good value for money.
After a few weeks, you should be able to add the replacement cartridges for the printer that come with it.
The time had come for a switch because of the ridiculous ink prices for HPs devices. I use cheap aftermarket ink from Amazon, which is a fraction of the price for already cheap ink.
I overlooked some things, including a 20-page auto feed for copying and easy access ink, although I am not sure I would feel confident feeding more than 10 pages at a time for the auto feed.
The printer is generally sold for a reasonable price but it makes up for it with "after sale" ink costs.
Common Questions
Is it possible to print in black and white if you run out of color ink?
I had to get documents printed under a deadline and I would suggest keeping a Brother b&w laser for color, faxing and scanning.
Does it include ink cartridges?
Yes, but only the starter cartridges have a capacity of 40%.
I don't know if the mfc j450dw printer will work on wireless.
Yes. You just have to connect it to your computer using the included cable. I've gone through 3 printers in 3 years, all with some problems, but this Brother far exceeds every one of them, and works flawless.
I'm leaning toward buying Brother because I'm told that ink costs are less expensive than other manufactures.
I bought this printer because it was supposed to be the most economical, re ink usage, but it's been nothing but a problem since day 1.
Is it possible to scan multiple pages into one PDF file?
Yes. It has a feeder and you can use it to print multiple pages into one PDF.
